I have finally finished the Czechoslovakian Cold War force.
We have two BMP-1 for transport and fire support.
Two six man BMP dismount sections carrying Czech equivalent AKs and RPKs with an RPG-7 for each section.
Support is supplied by a PKM team and an SPG-9 recoilless rifle team.
Technically I suppose I need transport for the SPG, but for now I am assuming they have been crammed into one of the BMPs.
All figures are Elhiem 20mm and the BMP-1 kits are S-model supplied by Hobby Den.
Altogether a fun project and (at least by my standards) relatively quick to do.
Now all I have to do is get read up on the 'Cold War Gone Hot' ruleset and find an evening when the Bobinantes Boreales can all meet up.
Looking forward to putting these guys on the table against Iain's superlative BAOR figures.
Cheers all.
David.
........Now where did I put those mediaevals?
The Roaring Northerners are Dave Stewart, John Hill and Iain Robertson; a loose affiliation of tabletop wargamers and figure painters who inhabit the frozen and somewhat soggy wastelands of west central Scotland. Shadowy and secretive, they stoically quest to reduce the scale of the lead mountain that threatens to engulf them all, and perhaps even find the time for the occasional game...
